There's a lot I don't know, so I need a professional who will work with me and make me comfortable while I pursue my Internet goals.
We are listening…

Developing a web site, in reality, is creating a business for a client. It is highly technical and complex, and it can be an expensive undertaking. Because the concepts of web sites, the Internet, and the World Wide Web are still fairly new to some people, it is incumbent on a web developer to form a close communication with clients; educate them about the process; answer their questions with sensitivity, patience, and efficiency; and be available as a support system throughout the building and maintenance processes.

While it is not necessary for clients to own computers or have access to the Internet, it is wise for them to do so. A web developer should become a trusted source for advise about equipment, software, what to purchase and where, Internet Service Providers, e-mail, and many other related issues. In short, the professional web developer should be able to provide clients with a support system which will offer assistance in all areas from the computer itself to the smallest details in the the “Virtual Store.”

Penworks has spent the last decade installing, troubleshooting, and supporting  PC computer hardware, peripherals, and software in systems which range from DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Windows 98.  We have accomplished superior, extensive training for all levels of users including in-depth training for would-be computer professionals, including those entering MCSE certification programs. Our satisfied clients range from individuals to major corporations where we have trained personnel either one–on–one or in groups of all sizes. We have been hired to do all on–going training of medical staff in a major hospital on their Meditech hospital–wide medical management system.

Our web development clients know they can count on us for as much training and support as they require. They know that they will eventually become in charge of their computers and their Internet Commerce; they know that nowhere today is it more important to apply the term “Knowledge is Power” than in the field of Internet Commerce. We help our clients obtain that power.
